Mallacoota Golf Club Visit 2021
Posted on: 12 March
WHERE: Mallacoota Golf Club
WHEN: April 16-19
Last year after the devastating bushfires in Eastern Victoria, the club was planning a visit to Mallacoota to support both the golf club and the local community. We had several very interested members and we were to play in the annual Mallacoota 4- Ball Challenge – the COVID lockdown put an end to that.
We have however, maintained contact with the Mallacoota Golf Club and they would be pleased to see us there this year. Assuming that travel is still an option in mid-April, we are going to proceed.
Considerable remedial work has been completed throughout the course since the fires. Where the fires opened up seascapes these have been maintained to provide spectacular ocean views on some holes. With the clearing and major replanting project undertaken by the club, the course is in good shape and offers a “new look” challenge.
The club is pleased to offer this new trip away and look forward to receiving expressions of interest as soon as possible so that we can advise the Mallacoota Golf Club of our likely level of participation. Including travel on the Friday & Monday you are looking at a four-day commitment – trip details:
